University of Beer has quickly turned into a family favorite for a quick outing. We had great service by Megan & due to us arriving shortly after opening we had zero wait time. My eldest daughter had the Bacon Mac & Cheese & my two year old had the Grilled cheese with fries meal. Both plates come with orange slices and Churro bites (so good!!!) my husband had the Fish & Chips & I ordered the Shrimp & Steak pasta. B we loved it definitely will return.
Great time watching football, especially the Steelers, on Sundays. Great staff and awesome menu options that are elevated and tasty. First time we ever finished nachos. Every last bite was crunchy and flavorful. Loaded with Bbq pulled pork and all the right flavors including a huge pile of yummy quac on top. So many beers to chose from. All teams represented and welcome but us Steeler fans are definitely there if you want to join!
Hands down, one of my fave spots! I've been going here many times and I'm still blown away by the food. Every dish is amazing! you can tell they use only the best ingredients and put love into cooking. The Thai lettuce cups with shrimp are still my top pick! The beer selection is huge and the staff knows their stuff, the servers and bartenders are super knowledgeable and can help you pick the perfect brew. The service is always friendly and attentive.
We have grown to love this place. The manager Sean is amazing. The staff is so friendly and they always seem to remember us. Opp is so nice, friendly, and an exceptional server...along with Ester and Courtney. We did our first happy hour there tonight and we got to try new food. I forgot to do a picture of the potstickers but they were AMAZING. My drink was a raspberry lemon drop and it was fantastic. My husband can't say enough good things about the clan chowder and coleslaw....he loves it. The fish and chips are also really good but we didn't get them this trip.
My wife and I absolutely love UOB the food is fantastic. The delicious clam chowder comes in a warm fresh sourdough bread bowl. It is delicious and the coleslaw is fantastic! The fish and chips are delicious too. The staff is great...especially servers like Opp, Ester, Courtney, and the manager Sean is great. Everyone there is wonderful it's always a great experience. Also, it's easy for me in my wheelchair and the staff is very accommodating and very helpful it has become my favorite place to eat. Well worth the visit.
Love our time at UoB! Good food, awesome selection of microbrews and great service that always makes you feel welcome. My wife and I have been looking for a regular spot where we can enjoy a selection of really good beer, cider and spirits, watch the games (NFL, MLB, NBA, you name it!), and that also has really good food. We definitely found it here! They have several locations but it's family owned which comes through in how you feel being there. No watered-down corporate rinse-and-repeat food and service. The food is all fresh and they're focused on quality in everything. The staff, up to the owner, make you feel like a member of the family and we've really enjoyed getting to know them. The microbrew selection is AMAZING and evolves at a good pace bringing in the best that you can find in one place. It's a great place to take the family and they love dogs which eat for free! We've made it one of our go-to spots not only because of the food and beer but because of the atmosphere and the people. If you're familiar with the show Cheers, it has that feeling for us. We will definitely keep coming back for more.
This is the best spot to watch any NFL or sports game. They have the biggest TVs and best overall TV views whether you’re at the bar or a table anywhere inside of the restaurant. You are absolutely guaranteed to get a great view of the games throughout the entire establishment. The owner (Nate)also pops in for the 49ers game as well as the general manager (Sean). Sean even personally handled out bells during the Niners game this last Monday. The whole restaurant was full, lively , and cheerful. The staff was also very attentive. They have a monthly pairing special that they offer as well. Their clam chowder is home made and to die for! The experience felt like home with how welcoming the staff, owner, and manager all were during my experience here. I will be back this Sunday for the niners game!
